Our 6th Month Anniversary

Today is our 6th month anniversary and it just seems like yesterday.  Around this time, we were seeing each other for the first time.  That was a moment that we will never forget.  And six months later, our lives keep getting better.

Charlie has a big biking weekend and we are just planning on going to dinner tonight to celebrate. 

Our first ultrasound to hear the heart beat is on June 20th at 8:30am.  We are so excited to see our little one.

Some of the things we are discussing to date are:

1.  I do not want to find out the sex of the baby but Charlie does.  My cousin didnt find out for both of her kids and it was such a great surprise for her and Kurt.  I think that would be a great day on the delivery to have a surprise.  Plus, we are not planning on painting the nursery blue or pink (more of a white neutral color) so it wouldnt matter anyway.  We will continue to talk about this decision.

2.  Our nursery-which bedroom we are going to use.  I think we are going to use the guest bedroom and move all the guest furniture into the bike room.  Sorry Charlie-but I think your bike stuff is moving to the basement.

3.  We are very fortunate that we conceived within two months.  We really just started trying after my two best friends weddings and are very lucky.  God is good.

4.  Charlie really wants the first baby to be a boy and I have a feeling it is a girl.  I really dont know why but I cant wait to accessorizer her with all the bows.  Either way, we just really are praying for a healthy baby.
