Hi Everyone,
So here we are at 14 weeks and I am getting ready mentality to head back to school. I am feeling refreshed and I am enjoying my last full week of freedom. Lots of lunches with friends, visiting with my friend Anna-who just had her third baby, Quinn, and just hanging out.
I just got back from St. Vincent's Women hospital (which will be the hospital that I will deliver in) and saw my best friend Anna. She just had her baby yesterday-all natural. Talk about a SuperWoman. :) She looked amazing and felt wonderful. Since I dont have too many friends that have experienced child birth, it was nice to hear all about her experiences. She said it was the hardest thing she has ever done-no medicine. I got to hold Quinn and it was so fun and made me excited for February. However, very nervous because I dont feel like I know much about infants. I gotta learn so I feel like I am going to be at Anna's a lot.
As for how I am feeling, I am doing better. I have still been getting sick on occasion but it is much better. I think school will be good for me to get back into a routine. I have been so hungry lately.
Some of my latest food cravings are pasta, cheese tortillas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and pizza. I cannot even stomach the thought of chicken breasts, yogurt, basically a lot of healthy stuff. I am hoping this changes soon.
Not much in the body changing department. I feel like I have noticed that I might have gained a couple pounds so we will see at my next week appointment. Just pudge but nothing noticeable popping out. I have been wearing lots of loose dresses so I havent tried any pants on lately. My cousin is letting me borrow a lot of her maternity clothes so that helps alot.
We had Shannon and Neil's wedding this weekend and I was a reader in it. It was super fun but it definitely changes the dynamics of a wedding when you are sober. We had a ball and got to stay at the new JW Marriott downtown.
We had dinner with our friends Gwen, Tyson and Lauren and Dan and they got us the cutest onezies. So our little one will be ready to be a Hoosier-just like their mom and dad. Maybe even a Pi Phi or a Fiji??!!
