So, I know I will forget how I feel once I hold our little one, but this first trimester has been VERY hard. I am constantly getting sick and have no energy. This is the first time in my life where I have not felt like myself. I feel like my body is in over drive. I had a mini-break down to Charlie this week. I have been trying to avoid taking anti-nausea medicine but I have felt an all time low this week. I know this is all worth it in the end but it has been very hard. I am ready for the first trimester to be over.
As far as how things are going....
1. We have our appointment on Monday, July 18th and are really excited about it. I am not sure what is scheduled at this meeting but I cant wait to hear the heart beat.
2. I have been ready a couple books that people are recommending to me. (Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy and Healthy Sleep, Happy Baby)
3. I am taking lots of naps and am starting to feel refreshed for the upcoming school year.
4. Charlie has been riding like crazy lately. I told him to get all his riding out this year because I am assuming next year will be very different. He will be taking our baby in those little wagons on the back of the bike :)
5. Having lots of friend time (going out to lunch, walks, just hanging out)
6. Oh and I have to tell everyone a quick story-because I havent really been showing or can't tell a big difference in my body but I am noticing a bit more pudge in my belly. I went to lunch with a co-worker and she said that she thought I was starting to show. I told her that was no way and it was just a bit more pudge than normal. It didnt do much for my self-esteem but I think I am apporaching the 'is she gaining weight' stage. I wish I would just pop out a bit so I wouldnt be pudgy.
