What a great week it has been! It was quite the weekend. I hosted Beth's baby shower, which was super fun and I think it was a big success. Her family and friends came in town and had a tea shower in Zionsville.
Sunday, baby Crouse was spoiled rotten by the best family and friends that anyone could ask for. Gwen, Kelli and Emily hosted the loveliest shower ever. It was so great to have all my friends and family in one room. We got all the necessary goodies needed for the babys arrival. We played a game where we had to pick the characteristics that we wanted for our baby (like mommies or daddies eyes, hair, temperment, etc).
Here are some pictures from the shower.
The hostesses!
High school friends
Grandmas
Sorority sisters :)
As to how I am feeing, everything is going great. I am still having lots of energy but am very tired by night. I am still running and loving it. I did pass my glucose test! YAY! But, my platelets were a little low since pregnant women have a lot more blood than normal. The nurse said it was nothing to worry about but they will check again in 6 weeks.
We have signed up for a breast feeding class and Lamaze class with Kelli and Matt. That starts next week and is a six week series. I am interested to learn everything but part of me wants to go into the delivery room blind. :)
I am sleeping okay but my stomach is definitely stretching. I have been trying to sleep on my side but it is starting to get harder to roll over. My belly button is starting to pop out and is a bit sore. I am hungry all the time. I am trying to eat healthy and some of my latest cravings are peanut butter crackers, honey-nut cheerios and pasta with marinara.
This weekend, Charlie's aunt Christie and Judy are hosting a shower for baby Crouse at Hollyhock Hill. I am so excited for it. Less than three months and I get to hold our sweet baby. So exciting!
