Not much new to report this past week. I am starting to feel the baby move and not just kick. Last night Charlie got to feel the movement and was amazed. I still dont know what body part is what but it is still a really cool feeling.
Here is what is happening in the baby making department from the Baby Center:
Our baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
31 weeks
We went to West Baden Springs this past weekend for our anniversary. It was such a wonderful getaway. It was the perfect balance between relaxation and fun. We got there on Saturday early afternoon and walked around the hotel area. Since it was Christmas time, the decorations were beautiful. We spent most of the afternoon in the hotel lobby listening to Christmas carolers. We went to French Lick for a nice dinner and spent some time in the casino. And, ended the night back in the West Baden lobby listening to music. Here are some pictures from the weekend!
Next Monday is our 32 week appointment so hopefully I will have more to report. :)
